Routes and destinations
Easyjet customers can fly to numerous destinations across Europe, Africa and Asia.
The company is constantly updating its flight paths and routes in order to serve their customers better. This year they have added ten new routes to their repertoire including London Gatwick to Luxembourg. The low-cost airline expects 50,000 business and leisure travellers to use this new route in the first year alone.
Easyjet check-in desks open two hours before the scheduled time for departure and remain this way until 40 minutes before departure. All travellers are advised to be at the airport at least two hours ahead of the departure time.
One piece of hand luggage per passenger is included within the ticket price. Whilst there is no weight restriction for hand luggage, bulkier items need to be lifted and stored in the overhead locker department. The dimensions of each hand luggage item should be no larger than 56x45x25cm.
Hold baggage, or baggage that needs to be checked-in, is charged separately. There is a 20kg allowance per passenger, with an option to pay excess baggage. Excess baggage is charged per kilo (7.00 GBP online or 11.00 GBP at the terminal) with a limit of 32 kg being placed on any one piece of luggage.
Travellers can take food and drink on board the aircraft (liquid restrictions apply) or alternatively, purchase refreshments from the in-flight shop. Duty free products are also available during the flight. Following in the footsteps of other low-cost airlines, Easyjet will be offering customers the chance to book specific seats in the near future.
Easyjet have received the title “Best Low Cost Airline” as voted for by Business Traveller magazine readers for 11 consecutive years.
